What we've been doing this month... |
The first weekend dawned sunny and
in Seattle we have learned to take advantage of sunny days,
especially in October! Mollie and Rhys got to go on a walk. I
caught Porkie sunning herself. The flowers have reached their
peak and the sunflowers are especially pretty. My fish are happy
having had a water change in their
aquarium.

Sunday was warm & sunny, a good
day to visit mom and dad. Their calico cat "Cali" needed some
special attention before curling up in her favorite spot for a
nap. In the garden, I found a hidden zucchini squash, bigger than
it needed to be! And with hopes for food, Porkie poked her head
from her play house while Snicker looked on from the garden
bench.

After a day of rain, the sun
appeared again - and it's the weekend! Paul had us take him to
the airport but took time to say hello to Rhys and Mollie. Figaro
made his way into the sun while Porkie came running hoping that
we were going to offer food. Sorry, Porkie!

Figaro loves to sleep in odd
positions, in this case draped over the edge of Anne's easy
chair. I submitted this picture to AskDeb.com for the October
Best Pet Picture contest. He won! Funny thing, when I sent in the
picture I incorrectly identified it as Snicker, so it became
Snicker del Figaro!
